ADA and Title VI
The Perry County Transportation system adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), ensuring equitable service provision for all riders. This ADA policy, established on 11/30/2022, outlines the implementation of ADA requirements, U.S. Department of Transportation regulations (49 CFR Parts 27, 37, and 38), and relevant Ohio laws.
Operating within Perry County, Ohio, the Perry County Public Transit System extends its services up to 100 miles from PCT, catering to diverse transportation needs. Classified as "demand response," the transit service is available to the general public, underscoring inclusivity while exempting Perry County Transit from mandatory ADA complementary paratransit service provision.
